Ann Irvine
Ann graduated in Dundee with honours from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in 1990. She specialised in Graphic Design and has worked in this field for many years. These days she concentrates on doing what she loves most, drawing! She is always full of inspiration and only hopes that she can get all her creative ideas out in one lifetime.
Working mainly in pen and ink, she has a unique drawing style which she refers to simply as doodling. She has been developing this style since early childhood, and even today her drawings begin as a doodle which is transformed into a unique creation.
Ann is also a qualified and experienced teaching assistant. By focussing on the simple doodle she is able to release the imagination of her students who end up being delighted with their own creations.
In addition to the Dunfermline Arts & Media, Ann is also an active member of the Dunfermline Art Club. She is currently exhibiting throughout Fife and at the Royal Scottish Academy. Her work can also be found in Norway, Canada, and the USA.
